FAQs
Coaching is a professional relationship designed to help you bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be. It's for people who feel stuck, want to make changes, or have goals they can't seem to reach on their own. Think of it as having a focused conversation with someone who genuinely wants to see you succeed. I'm here to help you figure out what you actually want (which is sometimes harder than it sounds!) and then work through whatever's getting in your way. We'll spend our time looking forward rather than backward - less "why did this happen?" and more "what do you want to happen next?" I'll ask you questions that help you see things from new angles, celebrate your progress, and call out patterns that might be holding you back. Sometimes that means gently highlighting when there's a gap between your intentions and your actions. I'm your thinking partner who's committed to helping you create real change, not just feeling good about where you are.
Coaching differs from therapy in that coaching focuses on the present and future. Therapy, on the other hand, often deals with past traumas, mental health issues, and emotional healing. While coaching focuses on the present and future, therapy focuses on the past.
Coaching is also different from consulting in that coaches do not provide expert advice or solutions to problems. Instead, it is about exploring your own thoughts, feelings, and ideas in order to come up with own solutions and strategies for success. Consultants, on the other hand, provide expert advice and recommendations based on their knowledge and expertise in a specific area.
I believe in meeting you exactly where you are, not where you think you should be or where society expects you to be. We'll work with your natural strengths and tendencies rather than forcing you to fit into a one-size-fits-all approach. I'll calibrate my questions to go beyond surface-level thinking to help you explore what's underneath your first answers, connecting you with the deeper feelings and motivations driving your goals, and I'll provide accountability that keeps you moving forward. I'll celebrate your wins while helping you learn from setbacks, and I'm not afraid to challenge you thoughtfully when I sense there's more growth available.
I focus on four key areas that often interconnect in meaningful ways: Life coaching, ADHD, Routines and Habits and confidence.
Our first session will be a free chemistry call, so we can go over how coaching works based on your needs and aspirations.
It varies, depending on your needs and availability. While I recommend once a week, it can be once every two weeks. The sessions are always one on one and last between 60min and 75 min.
This varies greatly depending on your goals and situation. Some clients see significant progress in 3-6 months, while others prefer longer-term support as they work through multiple areas or face new challenges. We'll regularly assess your progress and discuss what timeline makes sense for you. Many clients start with a 3-month commitment to give the process enough time to create meaningful change, then decide whether to continue based on their results and evolving needs.
That's completely normal! The best way to find out is through a free chemistry call where we can discuss your situation, explore whether coaching feels like a good fit, and answer any specific questions you have. There's no pressure – these conversations are designed to help you make an informed decision about whether coaching aligns with what you need right now, and allow both of us to assess whether we feel comfortable working together.
If it helps, you can reach out first by messaging me through the contact page or at leti@thespacetosync.com and I'll get back to you 😉
